TESTAREA ZOOTEHNICĂ A UNOR HIBRIZI DE PORUMB PENTRU PRODUCEREA SILOZULUI

Abstract: In order to detect the most productive and resistant corn hybrids for silage in the climatic conditions of the Republic of Moldova in demonstration batch (laboratory) and production conditions, eight and three corn hybrids were tested, respectively. The tests showed that in favorable climatic conditions (demonstration field) the best results were obtained by the imported hybrids Pioneer-9757 and Golden West -3378, then the domestic hybrid Porumbeni 374. In practical, drought conditions, the best results demonstrated the hybrid Golden West 3378, then the local hybrid Porumbeni 374, and only in third place was the hybrid Pioneer 9757.
