Abstract: The researches carried out at the Karakul Moldavian sheep farm during 2018-2022 have determined that the lambs of the Elite Class were obtained 594 heads with the share of 23.6% and the First Class lambs were obtained in amount of 1089 heads which constituted the share of 55.9%.. By the type of curls 649 heads possessed flat type making up 33.3%, jacket curling type had 594 heads with share of 30.5%, and costal curling type had 510 heads or 26.1% of the total herd. The study of the lambskin qualities as silkiness and gloss were expressed in points, and have demonstrated that among lambs of the colors of grey and sur significantly exceed the lambs of the black color. Thus, the silkiness in the grey lambs was 7.47-8.47 points and with the exception in 2019, significantly (P≤0,01; P≤0,001) exceeded the silkiness of the black lambs. The silkiness of the sur lambs was 7.1 - 8.05 points, and significantly (P≤0,05; P≤0,01) exceeded the silkiness of the black lambs, which was 6.51 - 7.62 points. The gloss in grey lambs was of 7.47-8.39 points and with the exception in 2019, significantly (P≤0,05; P≤0,01; P≤0,001) exceeded the gloss of the black lambs. On the lot of sur lambs the gloss
was recorded with 7.1-8.09 points and except for the years 2018 and 2022, significantly (P≤0,05; P≤0,01) exceeded the gloss in black lambs which constituted 6.53 - 7.65 points.
